Even for interns, many consulting companies hold case interviews. I recommend visiting several consulting prep websites to get a glimpse of it. (https://mconsultingprep.com/problem-solving-test/) They are really specific and difficult. Practice makes perfect. I recommend start preparing for this interview as soon as possible as it can take a least a semester to master it. Learn/memorize the interview tactics for each type of questions (discovering for a business problem, suggesting a business solution, M&A, etc.) They say they are looking for creative minds, but there are general rules and formulas to be used in the interview. Also, utilize consulting clubs on campus or Ross students who are also interested in consulting.
