From what I learned from Bain's employees and my own experience, Bain is a company that really cares about its employees. 1) Bain has brilliant training programs for those who are about to start working there. No matter which level you are entering the company at, chances are that you will be joining others who are starting the same position as yours from other offices to a retreat/training. These retreat/training programs serve both as learning and bonding opportunities for its employees. Offering these opportunities also reflects Bain's incredible global presence. Due to the nature of its work, Bain requires its employees to often cooperate with employees from different offices in different countries. The ability to work with people from different cultural backgrounds is obviously something that Bain values. 2) When I worked as a Part-time Assistant, to my surprise, I was asked about my preference as to which kinds of work I would be good at/prefer to do. The same thing happens to other Bain employees. Even for entry level positions, Bain's Associate Consultants' preference of traveling is sometimes taken into consideration when they are assigned cases.
