For a senior manager role, know that your experience and capabilities are just the table stakes to have the conversation. You will meet with multiple people at different levels (senior leaders, peers, and consultants reporting into the role). You need to exhibit and understanding of your industry and your capability area (strategy, human capital, technology, etc.) as well as be able to demonstrate successful business outcomes over your career. You also need to demonstrate you have P&L responsibility and the ability to generate revenue. You need to be able to demonstrate that you're 'authentic', collaborative, and adaptable.
