Former Decision Support Summer Analyst at Thomson Reuters

As a Decision Support Summer Analyst, my daily tasks changed all the time. The Decision Support team mostly focuses on Key Performance Indicator Reports and creating and tracking models for employee compensation. Beyond that, the Decision Support team takes on ad hoc analysis. I would usually start my day at the office around 9, check my emails and respond to any that required an immediate response. I would then usually meet with my supervisor about the projects I was working on and sit in on a few meetings. I would then get lunch, and then spend the rest of my afternoon working on the various projects I was assigned to and reaching out to other members of the DS team or the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team for assistance.
