I believe that communication (written and oral) is a must on all levels of management. You have to be able to make a conscientious decision that will not offend anyone, be empathetic, have great organizational skills, prioritize your tasks, be flexible and adaptable, have good customer service and collaborate with everyone.

My best advise, read that Employee Handbook and learn it to heart. The handbook is where all the policies, procedures, and cultures come from, so nothing says more than an intern or worker that knows the ins and outs of the company you work for.
Taking initiative and seeking out further projects is a huge factor in the internship program. Ask a lot of questions and network. It is crucial to understand the full scope of your projects and strive for those projects to leave a lasting impact on the company
