A typical day at work included reading emails and taking phone calls that could be anything from getting seats assigned for a flight to manually changing a fare on a ticket when a passenger wants to upgrade to business class on their return. This had to be done quickly and accurately and in 2 currencies if they were in another country. I enjoyed the work very much. Our workplace culture was about meeting our customers needs to the best of our ability. The most enjoyable aspect of the work was being able to travel, and meet wonderful people. The most difficult part of the job was working holidays, weekends and nights.
