There should be enough time work and have fun. I worked four hours from 8AM to 12PM and after that, I would do something fun to relax myself from the stresses of work. You should take maybe an hour or two to destress and get back to whatever your lifestyle is, but there should be an even balance between work and life.
Unless it changed, your shifts are 8 hours twice a week. When you're at Kaiser, you're taking care of patients and getting as much experience as possible in the length of time you're there. This goes for all clinical placements, but at clinical your priority is clinical. Expect more verbal SBARS over care plan assignments at the Medsurg 2 level.
Don't forget to take breaks and eat, you'll need it!
