The day to day varies depending on what types of campaigns/projects are going on. Time management and organizational skills are essential to ensure deadlines are met and projects can launch on time. My role involves the creation, review and implementation of marketing tactics to support campaigns. These can include everything from digital ad banners that one would see on Buzzfeed to billboards you drive by to emails. I work with members of other teams and outside agencies to develop the creation of these tactics and the execution.
Data collection is another aspect of my role. When a campaign launches, I work with our Product/Analytics team to collect real time data to adjust and optimize the effectiveness of a particular campaign. Also I build models to summarize the overall results of the campaign and determine how we can better it for the next launch or drop the campaign overall.
