U.S. Bank does offer a mentorship program. You have to have worked there for over 1 year and your manager has to approve. There are several diversity groups that you can belong to and request that your mentor be a member of the same group when you are searching.

Yes US Bank gives us peer mentors which are people who also work at the bank either at your branch or another branch that are kind of your go to for all questions.

I was an intern at US Bank last summer and they offer a similar mentor ship program for full time employees. For interns, we were matched with people with whom shared a similar work interest as us. This person doesn’t have to be in our department, and it was actually recommended that they were in a different department. I think that this was a great idea because it can be difficult to obtain a deeper understanding of different areas of the bank when you’re not directly reporting to them or working with them on a daily basis. I worked in risk management and was paired with someone in wealth management. Not only did I learn a lot about this department, I was able to network with some of her coworkers and more importantly, I discovered my passion for wealth management.
