Former Systems Technology Co-op at Anheuser-Busch

As a Systems Technology Co-op, you should be pumped to be in a position that gets exposure to all aspects of the brewery. You will solve problems in all areas, from packaging to brewing and utilities, and get to meet and interact with most, if not all, of the senior management of your brewery. Anheuser-Busch's co-op program is known for being an excellent experience in leadership and what working at a brewery is actually like. Because of that, you should be prepared to take full ownership for all projects assigned to you. In my experience in this position, although my manager was more than willing to help when I needed it, he by no means held my hand throughout my projects. It was on me to get it done. One of AB's principals is "We are a company of Owners". This applies to interns and co-ops. You will make a much better impression with everyone if you take ownership of your projects, regardless of if they are a huge success or a monumental failure.
