I liked meeting international tourists and teaching them about a beer that is a prominent of American culture. It also is very fun to explain step by steps to guests and amaze them with the size and production of the brewery. I also really liked the aesthetic of working at Anheuser Busch. It is usually a head turner when I tell people I worked there and it’s fun to throw out random facts about the beer production. And of course, hearing the appreciation and guest compliments are the best part of job because it lets you know you are doing a good job. I didn’t like the difficulty of working with some of the guests who came just for the free samples at the end. Normally these types of guests will try to rush you through the tour which can be really stressful, especially if you have other guests who do want to learn. But you learn to change tours and alter the script to accommodate for every type of guest. Another thing I disliked was bringing tours outside when it’s raining or snowing. It takes away from the tour experience and can be dangerous conditions constantly walking and stopping in this weather.
