Work Life balance was pretty easy to find. For every 4 to 5 days worked you had 2 to 3 days off in whatever community you were based out of. Those days were yours to do with as you pleased. Furthermore work outside on trails often felt more like pleasure than work. It was 100x more enjoyable than sitting in an office.
We worked a minimum of 4 10 hr days (8am-6pm) to meet 40 hours/week. Because I lived with other trail workers in park housing, we would always go out and explore and have fun on our 3 day weekends. I felt like there was plenty of time for fun while working this job.
