The training for this role was pretty informal. The role involved quite a bit of client outreach and cold call, so the financial advisors would train me on how and what to communicate to clients. When there was time, they would give me a brief overview of different financial products. A lot of the training just came from my own research of the products Prudential offered while on the job. Though they called me a financial advisory intern, the true role was that of a marketing intern.
