Equifax was not a company that valued design thinking or innovation. The culture was closed off at Equifax. Each floor was lined with tall cubicles making collaboration difficult. Even when the team had the opportunity to meet, they preferred to dial into the Go-To meeting instead of meeting face-to-face. Senior management preferred the status-quo and pitching ideas to improve the web experience was futile. The one pro was they let you work from home once a week. I only stayed their 8 months. I could not take the slow pace or lack of collaboration.
Equifax's culture is very friendly and open but still corporate. You can walk into almost any meeting and you can ask questions to almost anyone when they are available. Depending on your department different clothing standards are put in place, but from what I've observed business casual seems to be the main standard. Most employees are expected to work a 40 hour work week but many often do more because of the dedication to their work and an environment that is pleasant to work in. The office I've worked at is not quite an open office but certainly not sectioned off cubicles.
