Financial Institution Specialist at Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

Since the FIS position is a training program, the interviewers know that if you're not an expert in insurance and financial regulation/analysis that's not only ok, but expected. To standout, I found it helpful to highlight my ability to work in groups and resolve group conflicts especially during the "Group" portion of the interview in which you are put in a room with several other interviewers and asked to analyze the investment-worthiness of a company. Additionally, do your best to not assume there's one right answer, no portion of the interview has one right answer, but there are definitely wrong answers (and the wrong answers are usually ignoring peers, not explaining decisions, and generally being uncooperative).
