Former Financial Management Scholar at Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

The skills needed for success as a Financial Management Scholar that I would say are most important are malleability and curiosity. You need to be able to adapt to different situations with different personnel as you're inspecting different banks every couple of weeks. Further, since you are inspecting banks, you need to be willing to find and ask questions about items that don't make sense - that is the job after all.
