A billing analyst sits in front of a computer all day and works in one or two different ledgers. They work closely with different financial analysts through email, instant message, and phone conversations. The biller is sent a request from finance and must submit an invoice on a schedule. Billers are responsible for billing the correct amounts to the ledger, and assuring automatic billing is set up, and guarantee the customer is given an invoice without errors. They are responsible for finding and solving errors that may occur, whether they arise from finance, contracts, operations and maintenance etc. LM is VERY focused on accuracy, as a simple accounting error makes the company look disorganized to the customer. There is a LOT of multitasking and prioritizing work, as requests are handled by dollar amount and date due. Sometimes things can get really hectic and fast paced, but I'm sure that depends on the team.
