- Navigant is a large consulting firm with many offices across the U.S. Know and understand that even as large as it is, it is very well integrated. People you have never met are aware of your work ethic and they’re paying attention because the clients are paying for that service and that respect. - As such, it is a very fast paced, corporate environment. You are expected to perform. While you won’t be micromanaged you will/should feel an urge to perform/produce. If you don’t perform well under pressure or to constructive criticism then you might look elsewhere. - Be professional in everything you do. Don’t get emotional. Everyone is striving for excellence and working to better the client’s business. - Your team or core group of colleagues need to bond. In my experience, Navigant was very good about organizing happy hours and team events to build strong working relationships. Buy into this and develop friendships with your colleagues. I maintain good, albeit distant, professional relationships with individuals that worked at Navigant even though we’ve all moved onto various companies.
