The interview process at IBC was streamlined. It started with a phone interview where I passed screening tests such as what was my GPA, explain some of the experiences that I had on my resume, etc. After that, I was invited to do an on-site interview at the company. I met my manager, the team, as well as the people I would be working with. I was shown some of the methods they use to calculate reserves, premiums, etc. and given a few easy tasks to see how I would perform. After that, they took me out for lunch and asked me some good personal questions about myself. I was then invited to interview at the parent company. Here I was interviewed by a few managers, directors, etc. and asked some situational questions. Once I answered them sufficiently, they took me out to lunch again and introduced me to some analysts who have been working there for many years. After that, they reached out and gave me an offer and a day to accept it. One word of advice, it is good to accept the first offer; however, you may try to ask for a bit more because if they really want you, they are willing to pay more than the initial offer. Also, come with a list of questions to the interviews, it shows interest.
