When in garrison (not deployed to a war zone) youwill have several shift, the goal is to work 4 to 5 days on and the rest off. The reality is due to your primary function as a soldier you will be utilizing many of your "off" days to stay up to date with training and other requirements. Ex timeline:
0430 weapons draw
0530 guard mount and inspection
0600 brief for road commitment followed by a PMCS or check of equipment signed out
0700 - 1600 on the road
1600-1800 debrief, return weapons, complete organized PT of the day.
*may have to complete other cases at station that extends this time, or at the unit which will also extend this time.
