You will be working in the Judge’s chambers along with a few other college students and several current law school students. On a typical day, college interns worked on research projects and conducted factual research to help assist the law students with their brief and memo assignments. Then, at noon, everyone got together for lunch and talked about the upcoming hearings. Hearings, depending on the Judge and his rules, happen about twice (or thrice) a week with variations. That said, afternoons were usually spent in the court room where interns followed the proceedings, took notes, and found bookmarked documents to assists law clerks during conferences.
