For the day shift you get to work around 7 am where you recieve your assignments for the day, it could be from 6 patients to 8 on average. Once you receive your assignments you then start taking vitals for your patients. Before going into the room I would fill waters and ice for each of my patients as well as bring any supplies they usually need (wipes, peri pads, diapers, etc). After vitals I would chart them and get started with my baths for the day. Usually I would have atleast half of my patients would be totals and I would start with those. Around lunch time i would gather supplies again and start on my noon vitals and repeat the process until all my baths were done.
For the night shift it was a lot easier work load because 99% of the baths were done already and you would be mostly answering call bell or helping the nurses with tasks.
