In interviewing for a position as a Multimedia Journalist, be prepared to answer how and where you find story ideas, what you approach is to different topics, how you problem solve in the field on stories, how often you've done liveshots, your approach to teamwork, and your background or experience with a variety of camera equipment, satellite backpacks (i.e. TVU packs, LiveU, etc.), and editing systems. You'll also be asked to complete a written portion of the interview process. You'll be given a list of stories that you will need to make into a rundown to build a newcast. This is a news director's way of evaluating your story judgement in terms of importance, relevance and interest to a viewer.
