Former Curator of Global Shaper kinshasa at The World Economic Forum
almost 2 years ago
A curator in Kinshasa is always a challenging life, first of all, I would say that the hard part of a curator is before the investiture. The community vote for you based on your agenda. It means that before to run for the post, you should work hard to find a project and agenda. After that, your life starts. The challenge is to find the avenue how you will execute your agenda. Throughout the day, a curator is called to think on how his team will implement the projects and the agenda. Furthermore, a curator is always making connections with other organizations, leaders and so on. Working with his team to raise funds to sustain the agenda, involving people from different horizon on the same table to think about how we can improve the community. In short, I would say, a Curator is a daily thinking-big guy.
