You will not get a lot of support from upper management. Higher managers are busy with bigger projects. Rather, you'll be able to ask for help within your team. A team consists of software developers who are skilled in many aspects of the field. As long as you do your research before asking, someone will be able to help.
Technology Analysts at Credit Suisse are treated as Babies and trust me when I say that. You can always reach out and connect with multiple senior management members to discuss your problems or solutions & expect support from them.
Full-time TA’s are there to support you. You will have an assigned mentor, a manager, and fellow interns, and other Credit Suisse employees to help you out. I can honestly say that you will mever feel alone. There will be people asking you if you’re stuck on something even before you reach out to them.
Credit Suisse follows a very open policy and hence you would be encouraged to interact and ask for support to the upper management. We also had a mentor-mentee program where I was paired with a senior manager who acted as my mentor. You can discuss about your personal goals, interests as well as advice on work-life balance.
