Former Curatorial Intern at National Museum of American Jewish History

Every morning I would greet the security staff and head upstairs to get a cup of coffee from the communal office kitchen. Once at my desk, I would work on various projects including reading interview transcripts and summarizing them in preparation for a future technology exhibit, researching various artworks being considered for acquisition by the museum, and exploring a history website the museum was partnering with in order to provide user feedback. I sometimes went into the exhibits, to update exhibition records in the museum's database. While I spent a lot of time at my desk, I enjoyed the variety of projects I got to work on. During lunchtime, I would sit in one of the many parks in the area, right on Independence Mall, one of the perks of the job.
