Be comfortable asking for help when you need it. You are ultimately there to learn and gain as much experience as you can, so don't be afraid to ask someone to explain a concept or how to complete a task if you are unsure how. Also, be prepared for lots of long days with seemingly endless to-do lists. It is important to keep track of what needs to be completed and when, so good time management skills are vital. In addition, because there are so many departments at NPG, you are likely to interact with many people across disciplines on a daily basis to complete a certain assignment. Being open-minded and personable, while also patient with everyone's different schedules, can go a long way!
