Listen to the National Public Radio station at 91.5 KUSU-FM in Logan. Do your research and read everything on the UPR website, but nothing can beat listening to how reporters actually work on the air. You can hear the UPR stories at specific times on that station.
Be prepared to record a demo of your speaking voice during your interview at the station. The editors will want to hear if you sound confident, calm and clear while delivering news.
Also try not to worry or stress, everyone at the station is super awesome and nice. If you don't get a position, apply again the next semester or the next after that.
