Why did you apply and ultimately end up accepting your role as an SDE at Amazon?

I love building products using technology, and enjoy the satisfaction when my customers use it. Since me as a high school kid I did create products with technology and help people to have better lives. Software Development Engineer felt like a natural choice for me since I loved what I do.

I saw Software Development Engineer(SDE) as a gateway to enter the market of solving problems with the best way possible. Many people suggested roles such as data scientist/ ML engineer but I thought these are too specific roles and avoids the flexibility to explore new technologies, which is offered in SDE positions. Interning as an SDE was the best way to test my hypothesis, which turned out to be absolutely correct.
