At the facility where I work, a typical day involves conducting a portion of a large animal study. At the beginning of the day, I have to make sure that all the equipment is setup correctly, and the personnel involved are ready to perform their tasks. Once everything is ready, we perform the experiment, and I have to take careful notes during the entire session. After we are done experimenting, I have to once again coordinate with everyone to make sure we are ready for the next session that occurs in the day, and I have to remedy an issues with the experiment. So if a piece of equipment is not working right for example, I have to make sure I contact the company as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Towards the end of the day when we're done experimenting, I have to make sure that all the equipment is ready to be used tomorrow, and that everybody involved is ready for the next day.
