Being a Start Intern was one of the most advantageous experiences I could have the opportunity to be apart of. I was able to get early insight into both service lines that most students do not get to spend 8 weeks doing. Secondly, the training for Start I had in Atlanta was one of the best experiences of my life. It is 4 days, 3 nights of diversity/leadership based training with every Start intern in the country. You share experiences, viewpoints, and cultural similarities/differences with students just like you with very similar goals. I still hold friendships made during training to this day.
