Opthalmology Researcher (Kreiman Lab - Harvard Medical School) at Boston Children's Hospital

With flexible hours, I was able to accommodate any mid-week items such as appointments, family commitments, etc. i would expect a great deal of commitment to your work, but anyone who finds themselves in Dr. Kreiman’s Lab is probably motivated by their love of research to get the work done! The atmosphere is quite chill as long as your work gets done, so as long as you keep on track, the work-life balance is do-able. I worked 38-50hrs a week in office and about 5-6 at home/weekends, working from home is also a possibility if you have no meetings (and keep on task).
