Former Materials Engineering and Corrosion Intern at Chevron
over 1 year ago
I had a lot of freedom to choose how my days were structured while working at Chevron. Each day depended on what I needed to work on for each of my projects, as well as what meetings I had planned. I worked closely with multiple members of my group, as well as the materials engineers and some technicians that worked in the refinery, so I spent a decent amount of time talking and working through things with them. One of my favorite daily activities was playing sheepshead at lunch with my coworkers. We would all take an hour for lunch and play cards, which was a great way to get to know everyone a little better.
