Every day is up to you. I woke up at 6 to take the train and arrived at 8:30. I wrote code in my quiet cubicle for about 3-4 hours before lunch, then returned for about 3-4 hours to get as much work done as I could. Dress code is casual, and interactions with graduate student supervisors/lab PI is limited. The hours I worked and length of day were up to me based on my weekly goals. If a study participant was scheduled for trials, I ran th through protocol for about an hour and a half. Lab meetings were 2 hours on Tuesday nights, and journal club was an hour on Thursday mornings. Most work is independent.
