This depends entirely on the individual and their direct Store Manager. Having a SM that encourages a work-life balance and ensures their ASM team get that makes a huge difference. Otherwise, if you're the individual that is a "yes man", there's always a chance that will be taken advantage of by peers or the SM. That being said, ASMs are paid hourly and unless overtime is approved by the Market Manager you shouldn't see yourself working past the 40 hour mark. Don't expect time off during holiday and expect to work lots of weekends and nights but the benefits and vacation time are plenty. As long as you put in quality work while you're there, plenty of time will be given for you to relax at home.
