Former Inclusion Leader at Willamalane Park & Recreation

Your day starts roughly 15-30 minutes prior to the child arriving to camp for the day. Once they arrive, depending on the child, you can talk with them + their parents to get a run down on anything new or information they feel you need to know for the day. Every child is different so they process varies. You participate in every activity that the camp has planned for the day unless you need an accommodation otherwise for the kid to be the most successful. The objective is for you to include the child in all activities as normal. At the end of the day, you meet with the parents/guardian to go over the child's day and any ups or downs that had happened. You are expected to fill out a daily site log so the supervisors can keep tact on the progress of the child throughout the summer.
