It is quite laid back as long as you do the small things right. Be friendly and welcoming. There are many people who come in who are regulars and many who are new and have questions about work outs, eating, machines, etc. You clean and re-rack weights every hour and after you get your in-house certification, you are able to train people, however, you do not get paid more for training people or any training done outside of your scheduled shift.
