For me the college was very close to home which was very convenient. I truly enjoyed challenging students to work in diverse groups and expand their thinking. I enjoyed the autonomy but was sometimes frustrated by the lack of functions and resources. I taught at the Community College where the printing department had materials ready at my request, where grades were all online and any resource was available. It’s not the same at Manor. I loved the setting and the students and the inherent respect in the student body. I was not impressed with the pay but I wasn’t teaching for that and had other income.
