One thing I really liked was that for me it was about 50/50 working at the project site and at the office but that really varies by projects. You will usually prepare for the large meetings SDC runs with the client, architect and other key players in the project. A lot of your time goes into the documents you distribute to the team at these. You spend a lot of the day looking through Procore to track down answers to Request for Informations or Submittals, or setting any up on behalf of SDC or our pro-contractors. You usually have to reach out to the architects, engineers, and subcontractors to set up meetings and track down deliverables, so a lot of the day is spent on the phone and e-mails. Finally, you review drawings from your subcontractor before sending anything to the architects, in case you can catch anything first.
