Know why you want the position and to join the team - have a plan for how you want to grow and help Vie Fitness and spa. This may be areas of fitness you want to learn more about, ways you can bring something new to the team.
You will have to do a demo session with one of the owners (at least that's what I had to do). If it is a personal training session, it will be for a 1-on-1 session. I was given a profile of the person I was going to train and was able to create my own workout for them depending on their lifestyle and goals. You would run through this whole session, guiding them in form, demonstrating, and explaining why you are doing what you are doing. Be confident and kind - like you would for a real session. Have modifications ready in case they "cannot perform" one of the moves. Be flexible! I also had all the times estimated for each exercise and circuit. You will only get 50 minutes - 1 hour to complete. Take them through a warm up, total body workout based upon their goals, and stretching. If you know any assisted stretching, that is a great personal touch! If you are leading a group fitness routine, make sure to provide your own music. Another good thing to keep in mind is asking if they want to take body measurements before they start their session as a good starting point.
