Research Assistant, Professor Ellison at Massachusetts Institute of Technology
almost 2 years ago
My major is directly tired with the work I do. Although I have learned many new schools on the job, the foundation was entirely provided by the classes in my major. Understanding of basic modeling and econometrics is necessary to any economic research, and all economic research, although more complicated than the principals taught in class, is built on those principals. If you have taken the economics major, the work you do as a research assistant will look very familiar.
