A day in the life at RFKC begins at 7AM and lasts until at least 11PM. As an individual counselor you are with your two campers all day doing a multitude of different activities. These activities include building, drawing, fishing, tie-dye, crafts, swimming, talent shows, bonfires, specialty shows, a carnival, birthday parties and more. Beyond simply being with the children you are actively looking for ways to promote positive behavior and be a role model for them. As the dean of personnel I oversaw the counselors and was responsible for addressing any issues that arose with either a counselor or a child.
