Director of Sidney Public Library

The Sidney Public Library is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director to lead our library into the future. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver with sound judgment and a proactive approach to leadership.

A solid foundation in technology — including computers, relevant software, and internet research — is essential. Equally important are excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as the Director will work closely with both staff and the public to foster a welcoming, service-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative and organizational leadership, including the ability to delegate responsibilities effectively and manage a dedicated team. Experience with budgeting and financial oversight is required, along with the ability to develop, recommend, and implement policies and programs in collaboration with the Library Board.
