Gritness PE Coach

About Youth Mentoring Partnership (YMP)

At Youth Mentoring Partnership, we give kids the tools they need to succeed through sports and fitness. Our mission is driven by our core values: Goals, Grit, Gratitude, and Mentoring. We partner with schools to support students—especially those from vulnerable populations—by delivering high-energy, intense fitness physical education programs that teach students how to connect physical hard work to successful habits in life.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Gritness PE Coach to join our team. In this role, you'll work in PE classrooms and afterschool programs, implementing YMP’s fitness and mentoring curriculum in collaboration with teachers and school staff. You’ll use sports and intense physical fitness to build meaningful relationships and help students grow physically, emotionally, and socially. We partner with Coach Across America () and AmeriCorps (), to give qualified candidates the opportunity to work on the frontlines with some of Southeastern Pennsylvania area's most vulnerable youth, addressing education and social inequities and form life-changing relationships with young people.
