Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician - Lighting is responsible for quality control / inventory control functions to assure equipment availability for production to meet order fulfillment.  Perform duties to pull, stage, set up, test and prepare audiovisual product for shipment, working within the limits of standard or accepted practices. 

 Essential Funtions:

Organize, clean, and maintain warehouse storage of inventory to include the safe storage of equipment.  Assist with the design and location of equipment storage to promote efficiency. 

Visually examine components to determine requirements for cleaning and repair to meet quality standards.  Make minor cosmetic repairs including the replacement of labels. 

Maintain component cases to ensure operability.  Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to meet quality standards. 

Set up components for inspection and functional test to meet standards requirements and show conditions.    

Safely uses power tools to build and rework assets. 

Accurately asset new equipment with proper documentation, barcodes, and company labeling.
