Internship Description:
The Website Development Youth Facilitator will teach students the basics of website design and development using user-friendly platforms like WIX. The intern will guide students in designing simple, functional websites and introduce them to key concepts in web design, layout, and usability.
- Preferred Majors: Computer Science, IT, Digital Media, Education, or Business

Career Readiness Competencies:
- Technology: Proficiency in website design tools and basic coding skills.
- Communication: Clear and engaging instructional skills to guide students through technical concepts.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with students and adjust to different skill levels.
- Academic Background: Undergraduate student with a background in IT, Web Development, Digital Media, or Computer Science.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience with website-building platforms (e.g., Google Sites, Wix, or WordPress).
- Knowledge of web design principles, including layout, functionality, and accessibility.
- Experience teaching or tutoring youth in technical skills is an advantage.

Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Creative and supportive approach to teaching technology skills.
- Adaptability in working with students new to website design.
- Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS is a plus, but not required.
$50/session, a session is two hours = $500.00
