This position is an onsite position, based out of Medical Associates Health Plans in Dubuque, Iowa.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Overall coordination of core systems including claims system, web portal, HIPAA and Credentialing applications. Including development, implementing new functionality and enhancements, testing and timely updating of data.
- Overall coordination of all EDI HIPAA transactions including standard transactions and Encounter Data to ensure compliance with transaction versions, operating rules and timeliness standards.
- Lead, supervise and mentor configuration staff in timely and accurate configuration/testing and pricing auditing of Core Claiming system, Web portal, HIPAA and Credentialing applications.
- Coordinate analytical duties for claims and credentialing – such as roster compares, pricing auditing and network adequacy testing.
- Oversee the scheduling, hiring/training employees, timekeeping, monitoring workflow and department backlog, prioritization of projects, and performance management of all direct reports.
- Participate in user groups meetings/calls available for MAHP core systems to develop a network of system users experts to be used as an external resource for MAHP staff.
- Complete all other assigned projects and duties
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three to five years of similar or related experience
Education Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study or certification at a business or trade school.
Interpersonal Skills A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become import and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.

Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sound with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on machined parts.
Vision - 20 / 40 or better in the best eye with or without correction.

Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
