Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Princeton, NJ
Hours/Schedule: M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
Type: Contract

Overview
Our client, a leading CPG company, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for their Fabric Care Department. If you have a background in science, teamwork attitude, and strong attention to detail, apply for this exciting opportunity!


Responsibilities

  • Prepare laundry product formulations (detergents) – measure pH, specific gravity and viscosity, perform stability tests, detergent & softener performance evaluation, fragrance evaluation by test panels, record keeping and housekeeping
  • Conduct all applicable testing relating to fabric care in the Laundry Lab Group
  • Utilize washing machines for fabric care products


Requirements

  • B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related science
  • Hands on laboratory experience preferred
  • Experience with wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.)
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
