Supply Chain Coordinator

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to apply their supply chain education in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating various aspects of our supply chain operations, from warehouse management to production planning.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities including inventory management, storage optimization, and cycle counting
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with demand forecasting to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Support warehouse team in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper product rotation
- Assist in implementing and maintaining warehouse safety protocols and procedures
Shipping & Receiving
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with carriers and logistics partners
- Verify accuracy of incoming materials and finished goods shipments
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, bills of lading, and delivery schedules
- Track shipments and proactively communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders
- Support customer service team with delivery inquiries and order status updates
Production Planning
- Collaborate with production team to develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders and inventory requirements
- Analyze production capacity and assist in identifying potential bottlenecks or resource constraints
- Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely material delivery
- Support master production schedule updates and communicate changes to relevant departments
Production Coordination
- Serve as liaison between production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor production progress and assist in resolving any supply chain-related issues that may impact delivery commitments
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on priorities and resolve operational challenges
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
