Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) – Skilled Nursing Lena, IL
Lena Living Center is hiring a compassionate and skilled License Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) to join our dedicated and caring team in Lena, IL. What You'll Do
- Administer medications and provide essential nursing care, such as dressing changes
- Perform assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document accurately using Point Click Care or similar EHR platforms
- Support specialized procedures including catheter care, tube feeding, and airway management
- Uphold clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Active L.P.N. license in Illinois required
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care (preferred) is a plus
- Wound care experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality care
